Joanne Pickrell, President

Joanne is an experienced political strategist who has successfully translated her work on political campaigns to help design and manage issue campaigns. As President of Broad & High Partners, Joanne works with local and national clients establishing plans to increase their capacity and build long-lasting, effective relationships with key advocates.

Joanne works with Ohio-based organizations and businesses to train their membership and associates to promote their public policy agenda. She has provided services to members of the education, healthcare, transportation and human services communities. Additionally, she recently developed and implemented grassroots campaigns that led to the passage of the Clean Ohio ballot issue in 2008, the passage of the Ohioans for Livestock Care ballot issue in 2009, and the passage of the United for Jobs and Ohio’s Future ballot issue in 2010.

Joanne has executed political programs in South Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. She has extensive field experience, and first-hand knowledge of budgeting, fundraising activities, and how to establish and run a strategic grassroots campaign.

A native of Massachusetts, Joanne holds a bachelors degree in political science from The George Washington University. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio.
